FARE DEFINITION
Fares are advertised on a per person twin share basis.
In the event twin share facilities cannot be provided, single room accommodation may be arranged upon payment of the single supplement amount.

BOOKINGS AND CONDITIONS
To confirm your reservation, a deposit of $100 per person must be paid at the time of booking. Reservations will be held for up to 14 days only without a deposit.
Balance of payment for your holiday is to be paid within 7 days prior to the departure.
The Operator reserves the right to accept wait list passengers in place of applicants failing to finalise within the prescribed time.

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS
If cancellation occurs after the deposit is paid, the deposit per person shall be forfeited.
Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given, as follows:

7 to 28 days             50%
1 to 6 days             100%

After departure no refund is made.
We recommend Travel Insurance with a cancellation policy. This is relatively inexpensive and can be easily arranged.

SMOKING
Government regulations prohibit smoking inside Passenger Transport vehicles within Australia.

SEAT ROTATION WITHIN VEHICLE
To enable everyone the opportunity of enjoying window and front seats, passengers change seats daily during the course of the tour.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Passengers are strongly advised to take out travel insurance on extended trips to cover any unforseen circumstances - eg. delay and additional expenses due to weather and road closure.

ALTERATION TO ITINERARY
Occasionally it may be necessary to alter or amend itineraries, accommodation and sightseeing arrangements
This may be due to road, weather, and other operational needs at the time and is always made in the best interests of your comfort and safety.
Any personal expenses incurred by a passenger as a result of any delay, alteration or curtailment of any tour, whether caused by mechanical defect, strikes or any other cause are the responsibility of the passenger.
(we strongly recommend passengers take out Travel Insurance)

EXTERNAL OPERATORS
Activities such as scenic flights, boat cruises, mine inspections are not operated by us, and therefore we cannot and do not take any responsibilty whatsoever for any injury or loss of any type arising in any manner - including whether as a result orf negligence or otherwise.

CLOTHING & WHAT TO BRING
Casual gear is all that's necessary. Items include pullover and waterproof jacket, hat, torch, camera, drink bottle and sunglasses.
We carry insect repellant, however you may choose to bring your own.

LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE
We request luggage be restricted to one small case or "sports" bag.
A separate bag may be placed under seat for daily requirements.
Case must be limited to a maximum size of 62 x 40 x 22 cms.

WHAT YOUR FARE INCLUDES
Hotel/Motel accommodation and all meals from start to finish. (Alchoholic drinks are NOT included).
Hotel/Motel Accommodation is on a twin share basis, however a single supplement may be available.
Morning/afternoon tea and Lunch
Entry fees to attractions specified in the itinerary.
Desert Sky Tours does NOT impose a fuel levy.

AUSTRALIAN TOURISM ACCREDITATION
Desert Sky Tours is an Accredited Tourism Business (ATAP) and is Australian Tourism Quality Assured (T-QUAL)

SAFETY
Because of the nature of outback travel and the vast distances involved, anyone with health problems should consider their booking carefully and seek their doctor's advice if necessary.
We carry a HF radio (equipped with Royal Flying Doctor frequencies), a satellite telephone, and GPS instrumentation.
A senior first aid certificate holder accompanies each tour.
